Building Muscles in Women Takes Time
Monday, December 19th, 2011
Women and men are different in many ways, not just because they are of the different sex. We think differently, solve problems different, and work different. The same can be said about the way we gain and lose weight. Men tend to lose weight faster. Women seem to gain the most weight around the mid section of their bodies and this can be very hard to get rid of. Building muscle for women is also different then for men. Women have more fat than men and it will take longer for results to show up. There are also different ways that women need to build the muscle. If you try to lift too much weight to fast you will bulk up to fast. The way to get the most out of a work out is to lift a smaller amount of weight and doing more repetitions. You should also switch which muscles you work on. You want to give each group of muscles a break. One day work your arms and the next work your legs.

Who Can Benefit from P90X?
Monday, December 12th, 2011
You can use P90X if you are fit, slightly out of shape or quite frankly, fat. You just need to adjust the workouts to fit your own skill level in and you are good to go. As long as you feel a burn with weights or resistance bands, you are getting a workout.
Stick with it and you will see the fat burn off. In it’s place will be muscle you never knew you could have. It really is a life changer.
Eating well is just as important as working out well. P90X by no means overlooks this, as they provide you with all things you should eat and what you should avoid. The best part is with P90X is they actually offer their own shakes as well if you want to try them.
There is a reason why P90X sells so well. Everyone seems to get a lot out of it as long as they stick to the system. If for some reason it doesn’t fit you, there is always the option to return it.

How to Gain Muscle: Be Prepared for the Pain
Monday, October 10th, 2011
You might want to know how to gain muscle fast. However, along with this goal is the fact that it can really be painful. If you are not used to it, you might want to surrender in the middle. Take note that the process should be done in such a way that you overdo things. This is if you want to gain muscles fast. If you lift certain weight only, you have to go beyond it. By doing so, there will be more tissues working on the ruptured ones. As a result, you can build your muscles faster. This is the key in order to get to the finish line in no time. Again, it might be very painful. Thus, you have to be prepared of it. You also need to be consistent and avoid quitting just because you can no longer tolerate the pain. If you started it, go ahead and finish it.

Building Weight the Right Way
Saturday, September 10th, 2011
Most people do not realize when they are gaining weight fast that they may be actually doing it the wrong way. Some such examples are eating excessive amounts of peanut butter to get their protein as well as other junk food such as potato chips as well as ice cream. All these junk foods contain a high amount of saturated fats which is unhealthy for you and can cause you to gain the wrong type of weight. Instead, what you should be doing is to maintain a healthy diet. For example for breakfast, what I normally recommend my students is to have a mixture of cereal and low fat milk which fresh fruits such as bananas, sliced apples and oranges mixed into the milk. This way, their breakfast will be full of vitamins, energy and mineral for you to start the day off. In addition, what I normally recommend my students is to have a healthy amount of nuts incorporated with your meal so that you can obtain the unsaturated fats which you need.

Make Celebrity Workouts Work for You
Thursday, July 28th, 2011
A major problem a lot of people face when trying to get in shape is that they are always following the latest fad and bouncing from one exercise routine to another. They often see the latest celebrity routine or notice that a star has gotten into amazing shape (seemingly overnight) and want to get the same look for themselves. They often don’t understand that stars like Ryan Reynolds, who has millions of people worldwide trying to do their own Ryan Reynolds workout, didn’t just get into great shape over a weekend. He put in hours and hours of hard work with some of the best trainers and dietitians in the world.
That doesn’t mean that the average Jane or Joe can’t get into great shape, too, but it does mean that they have to realize that celebrities have great people and tools at their disposal and that we are seeing them when they look their absolute best and that it takes hard work and lots of discipline to meet your fitness goals.

Life Changed with Adjustable Dumbbells
Wednesday, June 1st, 2011
As a regular traveler and cyclist, I have to make sure that I am fit and healthy all the time. However in order to be fit and healthy, you need to have a proper exercise regime and a diet plan. Although I use different types of equipment when I hit the gym, I am a big fan of adjustable dumbbells. An adjustable dumbbell is like a regular dumbbell but we can change the resistance of the dumbbell according to our needs. We can buy a single adjustable dumbbell system for exercises with different weights instead of buying different dumbbells for different weights.
These dumbbells require zero or very less maintenance and therefore can be used for a long period. Generally after you have paid for the dumbbells, you have no expense thereafter on their maintenance or storage. . These types of dumbbells save a lot of space and can be stored in racks in your gym room.

Tips for Bodybuilding for Dummies
Friday, May 27th, 2011
If you are new to building muscle here are a few tips for bodybuilding that even a “dummy” could do. These are the bare basics of lifting and are designed to do one thing and one thing only – build muscle!
Here we go . . .
Lift With A Partner: This principle has two purposes. The first is that we are always more motivated when we have someone in our corner. When we are tired they are probably ready to go to the gym, and vice versa. The second reason we need to lift with a partner is because it allows us to lift heavier weights without fear of injury. A partner can spot you on the benchpress as you lift weight that you would never dream of lifting alone!
Stick To The Basics: Focus on the basics of building for optimum results. And, these basic exercises must include the bench press, dumbbell curl, triceps push, squat and dead lift. These four exercises will cover 80% of your muscles and result in quick results in short time!
Give these a try and you too can be a bodybuilder even though your knowledge of the sport may be limited!

Essential Tips on Following a Muscle Building Program
Thursday, February 17th, 2011
Following a muscle building program will be easy if you know how to effectively stick on it. Many muscle builders fail on their chosen programs because they either do not understand what they are doing or they are impatient to see the results in an instant. One of the most important disciplines in body building is patience. If you don’t have this value, then start reconsidering your plans so as not to waste your time, money and effort. Besides, muscle building is not a joke when it comes to training but the end result, a healthier body, boosted confidence, and most importantly, the Mr. Universe look that you have always dreamed of.
If you research on how to gain muscle mass, you will find out that the first step on doing this is having a routine exercise on specific muscles. Analyze which groups or parts of your body are you targeting on. After that, learn on the specific types of exercise which is suited for each body part. There are exercises which should concentrate on a single part of the body. For example, curling biceps are targeted only your biceps. There are exercises which will develop different body parts simultaneously. For example, push-ups develop shoulder muscles as well as the leg parts.
When you are following a muscle building program, make sure that you don’t overdue yourself. Remember, patience is a virtue. Check your program if your muscles are being allowed enough time to rest before another rigorous day. For example, if you performed exercises for your should blades today, allot the next day for the other muscles, say your legs. A whole day rest will be enough for your muscles to recuperate, get strong, and build mass. Doing the opposite will just make your body hurt and long for rest, making you stop and lose interest. However, while you value rest, make sure that you also follow your program diligently. This is the only way you will gain muscle mass without overworking yourself.

Building My Stamina with the TRX Trainer
Friday, January 28th, 2011
I couldn’t forget the first day I laid my hands on the TRX Suspension Trainer. It was actually awkward because most men are the ones using this. I don’t know if I can handle the intense training. My friends told me that I shouldn’t use it because it can make my muscles bulky. I don’t care if I have bulky muscles as long as I can improve my endurance.
I’m part of our tracks at school and I need it in order to keep my scholarship.
When I finally tried it, I know that I made the right decision. I was able to run around the oval for more than 5 laps without feeling tired. I wasn’t even breathing heavy anymore. I was really impressed with my new built stamina. I definitely need this in order to win the marathon.
I’m even more impressed because it didn’t really make my body bulky. I had developed some muscles but I looked sexier.

Need Review from Someone Who’s Used Them
Monday, December 27th, 2010
I’m looking for Power Blocks review online. One concern that I have with the internet is that there seems to be a lot of hyperbole especially when it comes to health products and exercise equipment. Every site I’ve visited seems to talk highly about this exercise product. The fact that I won’t have to keep buying bars and plates does seem appealing. And getting an exercise system that can easily adapt to my strength training needs just seems to good to be true. I would like to hear some real testimonies from people on this site though.
Are there any Power Blocks users out there now? Please post and share your experiences with this product. I think it would be very helpful for all of us who are curious but are still undecided about purchasing Power Bocks because this product just seems like the best and most hassle free weight training equipment out there.

Muscle Building Exercises for an Impressive Back
Sunday, December 26th, 2010
Looking for the best muscle building exercises to help you develop the muscles of your back? While it’s relatively easy to get some impressive muscle growth in this part of the body, I see people taking the wrong approach to training their backs nearly every day. If you’re one of those people who struts into the gym and speeds through a less than impressive set of light weight lat pull downs then calls it good, you’ll definitely benefit from checking out my favorite muscle building back exercises.
My three favorite muscle building exercises for a thick dense and impressive back are easily; pull ups, bent rows and lat pull downs. Each of these movements allow you to really target the muscles of your upper back with laser precision. If you make these back exercises the basis for your upper back workouts, you’ll be surprised at just how quickly you can get your lats to grow.
